This blog is an extension to my Flickr site and I hope you find it interesting. I have always had an interest in wildlife so wildlife photography became a very natural progression that has developed into my favourite hobby. It combines an active lifestyle as I explore the countryside for particular subjects. I generally concentrate on bird and butterfly photography but will turn my hand to anything. I use a Canon 7D body with a 100x400mm USM Zoom lens and a Canon macro lens for butterfly photography. I have owned the 7D since May 2010 and most of the photography has been taken since May 2010. It will take some time to get this blog up to date so until then I am uploading shots in subject groups.
